'Connecting God's people to one another through caring, grace and love!'

"For the body is not one member, but many; so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one anther.  And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all members rejoice with it."  Adapted from 1 Corinthians 12:14, 26-27 NASB

The FCC "Care Ministry" Team provides care, concern, prayer and visitation for families and individuals in various stages and places in their journey of life.  The focus of the "Care Ministry" Team is to reach out, when notified, of those in need and to engage them in both the spiritual and emotional expression of living together within the Body of Christ - the church.

Ministry Functions:

    Prayer Ministry

Visitation:  Home, Hospitals, and Care Centers

    Support Groups

    Grief Support

    Card and Tele-caring

Prayer Ministry

Volunteers, when notified by e-mail of a prayer need, will pray for the person or family as requested.  Click on tab below for "Prayer Request" form.

Visitation:  Home, Hospital, and Care Centers

Volunteers who are trained in visitation, along with clergy, upon notification, will be tasked to visit members who may be homebound, in a local hospital or care center.  Please notify the church office at 419.756.3046, when you know someone has been admitted or who is going into the hospital so that a Pastor may go and pray with that person.

Support Groups

The "Care Ministry" Team acts as the liaison between the church and local groups who utilize the church's facilities and meeting rooms.

Grief Support

Grief support to individuals and families will be provided as needed when an individual or family experiences a loss or difficult time in their life.  Please notify the church office at 419.756.3046 if a need arises and someone will follow-up as soon as possible after the notification.

Cards and Tele-caring

Through the out-pouring of cards and phone calls, those individuals who have been designated by the church and who may not be able to participate in worship, will be ministered to through the cards and phone calls to let them know that they are not alone and have not been forgotten.
